How is this different from a horoscope app?
Sun-sign horoscopes give one paragraph to a twelfth of humanity. Cosmyn computes your complete chart from your exact birth date, time and place. Every planet, every house, every period. So what you read comes from your chart, not your birthday month.
Vedic astrology? How is that different from Western?
Vedic astrology (Jyotish) uses the sidereal zodiac, anchored to the actual star positions, and adds dashas: a timing system that maps which planetary period governs each chapter of your life. Cosmyn computes both with Swiss Ephemeris, the same planetary data professional and research software runs on.
Do I need my exact birth time?
Exact is best. The ascendant changes roughly every two hours and it anchors the houses. If you only know it roughly, start with your best guess. Most patterns rest on the Moon and planetary placements, which hold up well, and you can refine the time later in your profile.
Is Tara just ChatGPT in a costume?
No. Your placements, periods and compatibility numbers come out of a deterministic engine first. Tara coaches only from those computed facts. She is not allowed to guess your chart. And she remembers your previous conversations, so the coaching builds on itself.
